The Jodi life is an Indian based label born out of love for craft, travel, fashion and culture. Their brand ethos is to cultivate local crafts techniques  and create a strong platform for artisans and traditional artistic methods to thrive on. Every few months they introduce a capsule collection which brings to you a splash of colour, strong emphasis on prints and a captivating story.

THE JODI LIFE
To create a print story for the spring/summer collection inspired by the life under the sea.

Sea Collection :

As one of their prints for the Sea collection, we created a boota print using anemone shaped flowers. These abstract versions of a sea anemone were speckled all over the fabric and were made in two colour variations.

The challenge was to create a motif that would be suitable to carve on a wooden block or exposed on a silk screen using only 2-3 colours.
