MUMUM
Punchy Protein Puffs:

To create a snacking option that is encouraging a young and energetic kid to choose a healthy and yummy alternative.

Mumum was born, as a result of two enterprising moms who wanted their kids to eat better and didn’t find suitable options in the country.

CHALLENGE:
After launching their first three products which were aimed at toddlers only, Mumum approached us with a new product which was for an older kid. Our aim was to visually and verbally appeal to a 4+ kid who would engage with the packaging directly.

Wordmark explorations

The shows they watched, books they read, art they created all exuded high energy, hero characters, adventure and play. In order to entice the child into choosing a pack of puffs from the shelf, we had to communicate using the language he/she was familiar with.

SEED THOUGHT : Burst of Energy

Oaties:
To create a snacking option that is encouraging a young and energetic
kid to choose a healthy and yummy alternative.

CHALLENGE:
Oaties were taregtted to the whole family, as anyone young or old would enjoy them. The overall story had to be imaginative and mature. Our motive was to carry on the seed thought of a ‘burst of energy’ using a different approach. Based on our understanding of the product and its method of consumption, we took the route of travel and movement as the driving force for
our visualisation.

SEED THOUGHT : On-the-Go

VISUAL EXPLORATIONS

I explored different scenarios using both characters to communicate travel, adventure and energy. To communicate the act of travelling, The M character striding on a skateboard across the Oaties backdrop with a blue cap strapped on its head gave the animated character
some youthfulness.

To cue weekly serving, each Oaties box included 7 individually wrapped bite sized squares. Additionally, the mini wrappers mimicked candy bars, thus enticing the kid into eating healthy and yummy snacks.
